RPF SI Training Process
Selected candidates will have to undergo a rigorous initial training in any one of RPF/RPSF training centre or any other such institution as decided by the Railway Administration.
The trainee recruits/cadets will be given a stipend of Rs 35,400 plus other allowances as admissible under the Railway Rules during the period of training.
Candidates need to pass the final examination at the end of the training and before the final appointment.
RPF SI Job Profile
They are responsible to supervise the Railway station, take care of any crime happening, find out the evidence and file cases in the station.
They are responsible for protecting the Indian railway tracks and keep an eye on the signalling equipment.
A Sub Inspector has to work in a team with his teammates the candidate is required to regularly take updates from his junior and senior.
An SI is also responsible to monitor and supervise all the activities happening on the station and keep coordination between the Local Police, Railway Police, and the railway administration.
