Question– I have made mistake in filling my Category OR Date of Birth OR Name OR Parent’s/Guardian’s Name OR College Name OR Degree OR Year of Graduation OR … (some other field). How do I fix it?
Answer– JAM 2022 application portal will allow editing of data after scrutiny. Wait for the announcement of defective applications. Some changes may require you to pay additional fees.

Question– How do I change my preference for the exam cities?
Answer– In exceptional circumstances, a change of examination city/town may be permitted, if a request with a valid reason is submitted through the JAM 2022 application portal on or before the deadline specified by JAM 2022 organizing institute, along with an ONLINE payment of ₹ 500. Please note that payment of ₹ 500 is non-refundable and does not necessarily guarantee change of the city. The decision of the Organizing Institute will be final in this respect.

Question– Why is my application showing “Under Scrutiny” OR “Under Process”?
Answer-All applications are subject to scrutiny and verification. You will get an email once your application has been scrutinised.
